Not only do Dan and Frankie get to talk about a movie that surprised them both with Michael Bay's Ambulance, along with discussions on The Card Counter and '80s classic, The Last Starfighter, but it's the return of the trivia contest! Guest star Charlie Nobbins is back with another round of 20 movie trivia questions for Dan and Frankie to test their skills in a now ongoing series where the first to 100 points wins a prize! Come and play along!

Rev up those engines as Dan and Frankie ramp up the fun of talking about one of their most favourite comedy films of all time, Hot Rod! Cool beans! We've got a really special episode to close Halloween month! Instead of getting our regular contributor, Charlie Nobbins, to submit a question for us to answer, we've brought him in to host a horror movie trivia game where we compete through 20 questions for the prestige of being able to say one of us was the victor!
 
Then it's onto our regular content, discussing our movie picks of the fortnight followed by a new edition of Hit or Shit? where we dive into some films by Jared Leto and figure out if they're worth your time or not. This time around, we have Urban Legend, Lonely Hearts and Chapter 27, not all of which we agree on.
 
Come and see October off with a bang!

Continuing the October (or is it Croctober?) Halloween horror theme, Dan and Frankie engage in a discussion over the two big clown films - Joker 2 and Terrifier 3, and the controversy surrounding them online. Then it's onto the slasher classic, 1984's A Nightmare on Elm Street followed by another instalment of Without Consent, where each makes the other watch a film they need to see. In this episode, Frankie finally checks out the creepy and disturbing Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer while Dan falls in love with the fun of Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse.

We're just about to kick off Halloween month, so we have some horror-themed stuff going on in this episode! Dan and Frankie each choose a non-horror film and turn it into something scary before diving into this episode's feature films - the brilliant horror/comedy, Happy Death Day, the creepy murder mystery, The Name of the Rose, and the absolutely bizarre There's Nothing Out There. Along with the usual weirdness that goes on whenever these two get talking.

In this episode, Dan and Frankie reminisce about one of the greatest movies to come out of the '90s, True Romance. Then it's onto a debate over whether or not Lady Macbeth is a good movie and a look back at the glory days of video stores with Watching the Detectives.
In the meantime, in this week's Reelin' in the Years, Dan and Frankie discuss the most underrated films of 2019 along with a horror-themed question from regular script-writer, Nobbins. It's a good time!

In this episode, Dan and Frankie revisit one of their favourite films, Last Night in Soho! Also up for discussion is the horror/comedy Deadstream and the deeply disturbing (at least for one of them) Macbeth.
Also, the two bring in a new segment called Reelin' in the Years, in which they talk about the most underrated films of each year, this time starting with 2020. It's almost guaranteed to be a fun time!

Join Dan and Frankie as they discover new films in another instalment of Hit or Shit, where this time they take two unseen Ben Foster films (Contraband and Alpha Dog) and determine if they’re unmissable or unwatchable. Also on the list is the 1999 horror comedy Idle Hands, which Dan likes way more than Frankie does. As well as that, Frankie gives an update on all the Olympics events that have prevented her from watching too many films and Dan says inappropriate things about Nazis.

After witnessing one of this year's best movies, Dan and Frankie couldn't wait to discuss it and dive into everything that made it such a powerful thriller/horror movie! If you haven't seen it, fear not - the first part is spoiler-free. After that, it's onto all the gory details!
